RECAP | 2022 Q1 Regional Membership Briefing

Uptime Institute's virtual 2022 Q1 Regional Member Briefing was conducted Wednesday, 23rd March, 2022. The agenda for the event is displayed below along with the links to access the audio/video, presentations, and Career Pathfinder.

During the briefing Welcome, it was announced in-person conferences are tentatively being planned for June 2022. Americas tentatively planned for June 7-8 in New York City and EMEA tentatively planned for June 28-29 in London.

Owen Rogers, Research Director for Cloud Computing, Uptime Institute. This presentation will provide an overview of the current state of cloud resiliency, ranging from hybrid cloud, cloud-native architectures and the use of software containers.

Tackling the staffing crisis: Data Center Career Pathfinder launches

The data center industry’s first taxonomy of job roles has launched. Developed by Uptime Institute with support from Google, Meta and Microsoft, the Data Center Pathfinder is a free online tool that details hundreds of career possibilities, based on typical, real-world job roles.
