Daniel Bizo, Research Director. Uptime Institute’s 2021 annual survey, now in its 11th year, reveals a vibrant sector that is growing and adapting to rapid change on multiple levels. Technical Presentation: Thermal Guidelines and Energy Efficiency –
Muhammad Naveed Saeed, VP of Global Service Management for Uptime Institute. ASHRAE Thermal Guidelines provides basis for environmental envelope operation of IT equipment in data centers. These guidelines can also be used to improve energy efficiency in Data Centers.

Jay Dietrich, Research Director, Sustainability, for Uptime Institute. Climate change places new challenges and burdens on the data center builder and operator. This session discusses possible impacts on the sector, including regulation, the effect of public opinion, extreme weather resiliency audits, and a need for supply chain reassessments.
