Addressing supply chain risk in data center cybersecurity

Third-party risk management (TPRM) is the process of monitoring and managing supply chain relationships to safeguard sensitive assets and is a critical capability in a connected economy. TPRM is most often driven by compliance and/or cybersecurity teams, but supply chain risk management is also a critical issue for the whole organization.

Data center IT and control systems can span hundreds of direct equipment and service providers, which in turn can engage even more indirect suppliers. Many of these products and services are unique to a data center and it is essential that data center executives apply robust, consistent supply chain risk management practices to critical data center technologies.
