Late last year, there was a lot of discussion chatter about practical approaches to improving cooling efficiency. I wanted to highlight two new documents that dig into the fundamentals of combining facility and IT resources to build a robust basis for performance analysis, and how this foundation was used to create a "cooling efficiency ratio" (CER) that evaluates cooling power across connected systems - and uncovered a very unexpected outcome from increased set points.

Both reports are in PowerPoint format, making them easy to absorb and share (in whole or pieces).
Many thanks to Jay Dietrich and Matt Stansberry for refining and posting the content - and of course, to the member who patiently walked us through their approach!
