Uptime Institute comments on second draft delegated regulation
The European Commission has published the draft Energy efficiency — rating scheme for data centres in Europe, proposing amendments to Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1364, with comments due by April 23, 2026.
The proposed rating scheme introduces a simplified label that should be broadly acceptable to data center operators. The document also provides amendments to the first delegated regulation (EU 2024/1364) that add to (four new definitions) or are intended to improve the definitions in Annex I and Annex II.
