A mission-critical industry unprepared for climate change
Most data center operators have failed to carry out an up-to-date risk assessment to prepare for hitherto unlikely events and gradual changes caused by climate change. As a result, their facilities and businesses may be vulnerable as the threat increases. Uptime Institute is advising that data center operators review their resiliency and disaster recovery models and assumptions and conduct regular risk assessments.
